Do I have to complete first aid training?

Yes, this is from OSHA, taken from 29 CFR 1910.151(b): “In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid.”

How long does the training take?

CPR/First aid class typically takes around 4 hours total. That time includes practical exercises and a written test.

How long does First Aid and CPR certification last?

OSHA requires that those with First Aid and CPR certification must retake the training every 2 years
